TERMINI E A 1KM DALLA STORICA VIA APPIA ANTICA ZONA ARCHEOLOGICA E PROTETTA. IL SILENZIO CHE SI NOTA NON È DESOLAZIONE MA IMMERSIONE NELLA MACCHIA MEDITERRANEA DI ROMA, CON REALTÀ INTERESSANTI ED UNICHE SE SI PASSEGGIA SU VIA TORRICOLA E LE ZONE DIACENTI. GLI ORARI E LE CORSE SONO RISPETTATE. BUS PER ARRIVARE AL CENTRO O ZONE PIÙ LIMITROFE PRESENTI. INFO: STATION IN THE MIDDLE OF THE REGIONAL PARK OF APPIA ANTICA. G	Giuseppe Di Nuccio on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stazione dei treni (via Formia) molto isolata, riparata dalla pioggia; molto immersa nella campagna, lontanuccia dal centro abitato, raggiungibile col 789 ogni mezz'ora, ma allo stesso tempo ottimo collegamento, addirittura per Formia-Gaeta o Priverno-Fossanova; in generale i treni sono per Termini, Nettuno, Latina... ma una volta al giorno anche queste 2 "speciali" destinazioni più lontane. Merita un voto medio. Sconsiglato di raggiungerla in autobus (789), perché passa raramente. Centro abitato impossibile da raggiungere a piedi! Continui treni in transito, zero personale. PERICOLO: 789 che non circola nei giorni festivi come la Domenica! PERICOLO 2: alcuni (quei pochi) treni vengono soppressi! Very isolated train station (via Formia), sheltered from the rain; very immersed in the countryside, far from the inhabited center, reachable with the 789 every half hour, but at the same time excellent connection, even for Formia-Gaeta or Priverno-Fossanova; in general the trains are for Termini, Nettuno, Latina ... but once a day also these 2 "special" destinations further away. Worth an average grade. Not recommended to reach it by bus (789), because it rarely passes. Inhabited center impossible to reach on foot! Continuous trains in transit, personal zero. È un posto deserto ed isolato (sia la stazione stessa che il luogo intorno ad essa), ma soprattutto pericoloso perché non vi è nessun tipo di controllo o personale ferroviario... non consiglierei mai a nessuno di prendere un treno da lì. A station abandoned to itself! It is a deserted and isolated place (both the station itself and the place around it), but above all dangerous because there is no type of control or railway personnel ... I would never recommend anyone to take a train from there.

Le cinque stelle sono perché questa stazione consente ai numerosi pendolari del basso Lazio di raggiungere la zona sud di Roma con estrema facilità. Si, pochi treni fermano a Torricola, e quei pochi in caso di avaria del sistema o della linea vengono soppressi con troppa facilità. Si, non c'è la biglietteria, nemmeno automatica. Si, non ci sono i bagni, tuttavia c'è una sala d'attesa che qualche buontempone ha confuso per una toilette... Si raggiunge facilmente sia dall'ardeatina che dall'appia, il parcheggio è misero ma finora sufficiente. Presta servizio il bus Atac 789, verso Cinecittà e verso viale America... ma credo solo nei giorni feriali. Viva Torricola e guai a chi la tocca. Don't be fooled. The five stars are because this station allows the numerous commuters of the lower Lazio to reach the southern area of Rome with extreme ease. Yes, few trains stop in Torricola, and those few in case of system or line failure are suppressed too easily. Yes, there is no ticket office, not even automatic. Yes, there are no bathrooms, however there is a waiting room that some jokers have mistaken for a toilet ... It can be reached easily from both the Ardeatina and the Appia, the parking is poor but so far sufficient. The Atac 789 bus serves, towards Cinecittà and towards Viale America ... but I think only on weekdays. Long live Torricola and woe betide anyone who touches it.
s	stenet 75 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Altra stazione storica ( e di prima del 1920 ) completamente abbandonata a se stessa come per Prenestina neanche qui c'è una biglietteria ... Come ci si allontana dal fabbricato ( verso RM sul primo binario ) c'è sporcizia e avanzi di lavori ( pezzi di binari, rocchetti della fibra e metalli vari ) abbandonati lì a marcire ... Così come il marciapiede dopo il segnale e marcio ! ... Insomma capisco che non e importante come Termini ma e Roma !! Another historic station (and from before 1920) completely abandoned to itself as for Prenestina there is not a ticket office here either ... As you move away from the building (towards RM on the first track) there is dirt and work leftovers ( pieces of tracks, spools of fiber and various metals) left there to rot ... As well as the sidewalk after the signal and rotten! ... In short, I understand that it is not as important as Termini but it is Rome !!
D	Dan Castel on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Trovo assolutamente paradossale che a Roma vi siano interi quartieri come Torrevecchia, Monteverde, Fonte Meravigliosa o Collina Fleming (ne ho sparati quattro a caso) che sono poco o per nulla serviti dai mezzi pubblici pesanti e poi ti ritrovi stazioni come questa che sono letteralmente piazzate nel vuoto assoluto. Spiegatemi a chi può servire una stazione che appena esci ti ritrovi solo una strada che passa tra agriturismi e campi di equitazione e tiro con l'arco e che dista almeno un chilometro e mezzo dal centro abitato più vicino. I find it absolutely paradoxical that in Rome there are entire neighborhoods like Torrevecchia, Monteverde, Fonte Meravigliosa or Collina Fleming (I shot four at random) that are little or not at all served by heavy public transport and then you find yourself stations like this that are literally placed in absolute emptiness. Explain to me who can serve a station that as soon as you leave you find yourself only a road that passes between farmhouses and riding fields and archery and which is at least a kilometer and a half from the nearest town.
