★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il mare in corrispondenza della Torre è fantastico. È un luogo incantevole per coloro che amano camminare sulla spiaggia e godersi le bellezze della nostra fantastica Italia. È conosciuta dagli abitanti del luogo come Torre Saracena.
Dovrebbe essere maggiormente curata dagli enti locali affinché non possa deteriorarsi ulteriormente.
 The sea at the Tower is fantastic. It is a lovely place for those who like to walk on the beach and enjoy the beauty of our fantastic Italy. It is known by the locals as Torre Saracena.
It should be better cared for by local authorities so that it cannot deteriorate further.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Questo posto lo consiglio a chi ama passeggiare sulla spiaggia. Dalle rovine della Torre Fiumicelli allo sbocco in mare del lago Alimini si può camminare agevolmente, ci sono solo un centinaio di metri di spiaggia con i ciottoli. Ottimo anche per fare il mare. Spiagge attrezzate, stabilimenti balneari con bar e ristoranti e spiagge libere.
I recommend this place to anyone who loves walking on the beach. From the ruins of the Fiumicelli Tower to the outlet into the sea of Lake Alimini you can walk easily, there are only a hundred meters of beach with pebbles. Also excellent for swimming. Equipped beaches, bathing establishments with bars and restaurants and free beaches.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un posto isolato e fuori mano, ideale per escursionisti e amanti dei luoghi poco praticabili. Ma in fin dei conti ci torno volentieri.
An isolated and out of the way place, ideal for hikers and lovers of impractical places. But in the end I gladly go back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Torre Fiumicelli è una torre costiera situata in territorio di Otranto nei pressi delle spiagge dei Laghi Alimini. Situata su di una duna a 5 metri di altezza, ormai è situata a livello del mare, per effetto dell'innalzamento delle acque. Fu costruita nel 1582 dal leccese Martino Cayzza sotto l'incarico dell'allora governatore della Terra d'Otranto, Ferdinando Caracciolo per far fronte ai saccheggi dei Turchi che avevano devastato la città di Otranto e gran parte del territorio salentino nel 1480. Presenta una pianta quadrata e basamento troncopiramidale, ed è quasi completamente crollata.
Fiumicelli Tower is a tower located in the territory of Otranto near the beaches of Alimini Lakes. Located on a dune 5 meters high, it is now located at sea level, due to the rising waters. It was built in 1582 by Martino Cayzza from Lecce under the commission of the then governor of the Terra d'Otranto, Ferdinando Caracciolo to face the looting of the Turks who had devastated the city of Otranto and much of the Salento territory in 1480. It has a plan square and truncated pyramidal base, and is almost completely collapsed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spiaggia particolare per il suo colore nero seppia...bon di facile raggiungimento , però bella per gli amanti della tranquillità, quasi niente bagni attrezzati e pochissima gente..mare misto tra scogli e sabbia..da vedere!
Particular beach for its sepia black color ... bon of easy achievement, but beautiful for lovers of tranquility, almost no equipped bathrooms and very few people .. mixed sea between rocks and sand .. to see!
