★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went for lunch after reading the great reviews and was disappointed. The server did not bring us menus, so we ordered off of the short specials board (only to discover later that there was a longer menu.) Also didn't get bread (had to ask) or salad dressing makings (had to grab those ourselves.) Dishes were fine, although panzanella was bland and soggy and aqua frizzante had no friz. Granted we were trying to muddle through with our poor Italian, but was quite underwhelmed.

Prices are a bit too high for the standard (they were all 14€ each), you can see they are trying to be “sophisticated” - in my opinion for no reason and without succeeding.
However, they have great draft beers and a beautiful outdoor court.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've haven't been here to eat but they have an excellent aperitivo with a fantastic beer selection, great snacks and excellent cocktails. Our server was kind enough to let me practice my Italian while helping us out in English as well. I'll definitely be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A terrific place to eat hidden in one of the narrow street of the Brescia old town. Excellent, cheap and extensive lunch menu. Be sure to brush up your Italian, but staff is relaxed, very friendly and will do their best to understand your order. Definitely put aside the English menu and order from the daily specials blackboard.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great little restaurant with excellent food. The staff was very friendly and, in addition to helping us understand the italian dishes, also gave us a great wine recommendation. If we had stayed one more day in Brescia we definitely would have gone a second time.

Wine reccomendations were good as well. Nice local sparkling and a local white variety I've not trued before, which has been around since Roman times.
