★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Uno dei posti più belli di tutto quello tratto di costa che va da cornino a makari. Zona di Costa pressoché rocciosa dai fondali mozzafiato. È sempre consigliato portare con sé l'attrezzatura da snorkeling perché i fondali e le specie di pesci meritano. Interessante la torre a pianta quadrata con gli spigoli allungati come i vertici di una stella. Molto interessanti le poche abitazioni nel luogo dove la presenza dell'uomo è pressoché nulla. Consigliato vivamente!!!
One of the most beautiful places of all that stretch of coast that goes from cornino to makari. Almost rocky coast area with breathtaking seabed. It is always recommended to bring snorkeling equipment with you because the seabed and the species of fish deserve it. The square tower with elongated edges like the vertices of a star is interesting. Very interesting are the few houses in the place where the presence of man is almost nil. Highly recommended !!!

La torre ricade nel territorio del comune di Custonaci, in provincia di Trapani e si trova all'interno della riserva naturale orientata Monte Cofano. Annessa alla torre vi sono i resti di una tonnara.
The tower of the Tonnara di Cofano is a coastal tower on the Gulf of Macari, dating back to the sixteenth century that was part of the coastal tower system of Sicily, as a defensive sighting system for the Saracen canals. The tower falls within the territory of the municipality of Custonaci, in the province of Trapani and is located within the Monte Cofano oriented nature reserve. Attached to the tower are the remains of a tonnara.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ko gledam mnenja in fotografije predhodnikov ne morem verjet kaj se dogaja pri Tonnara del Cofano. Tonnara je zagrajena in postala je sramotno smetišče, polno raznovrstnih odpadkov kar je nedopustno za rezervat Monte Cofano. Vstop v rezervat pri spiaggia Agliareddi je urejen, lepo ograjen parking , v leseni koči so nadzorniki, ko pa nadaljuješ po makadamski poti pa si zgrožen zaradi smetišča.
When I look at the opinions and photos of the predecessors, I can’t believe what’s going on at Tonnara del Cofano. Tonnara is fenced off and has become a disgraceful dump, full of a variety of waste which is unacceptable for the Monte Cofano reserve. The entrance to the reserve at Spiaggia Agliareddi is a well-kept parking lot, there are supervisors in the wooden hut, but when you continue on the macadam path you are horrified by the dump.
