Ho raggiunto questa stazione di servizio vicino a Castel di Sangro intorno alle 13,30 di sabato 26 febbraio, dopo una terribile nevicata e dopo aver messo le catene. Il cartello indicava APERTO. Ed anche il bar ristoro sembrava aperto con le luci accese e con la scritta APERTO.
Porta chiusa a chiave. Faccio una ricerca online per avere un numero di telefono, lo trovo e chiamo ma non ottengo risposta. Finalmente vedo sul sito che Toil è in pausa e riapre alle 15,00.
Ho perso un quarto d'ora in un momento problematico del mio viaggio. Se la segnaletica fosse stata corretta ovviamente non mi sarei fermata.
Misleading Signage
I reached this service station near Castel di Sangro around 1.30pm on Saturday 26 February, after a terrible snowfall and after putting on the chains. The sign said OPEN. And even the refreshment bar seemed open with the lights on and with the word OPEN.
Locked door. I search online for a phone number, find it and call but get no answer. Finally I see on the website that Toil is on break and reopens at 15.00.
I lost a quarter of an hour in a troubled moment of my trip. If the signage had been correct obviously I would not have stopped.
