È molto ampio, ben restaurato. Tra i monumenti più significativi la ridotta quota q31, conquistata dagli italiani nel 1916, durante la sesta battaglia dell'Isonzo, la trincea Joffre, conquistata già nel 1915, i cippi dedicati ai caduti decorati con medaglia d'oro.
In vetta si trova la rocca, forse costruita da Teodorico già nel rio, ristrutturata in periodo medioevale dai Patriarchi di Aquileia e modificata dai Veneziani, per rinforzarsi contro gli attacchi dei Turchi..
The theme park of the Great War is located on the karst reliefs behind the city. It can be easily reached from the station.
It is very large, well restored. Among the most significant monuments the reduced q31 quota, conquered by the Italians in 1916, during the sixth battle of the Isonzo, the Joffre trench, conquered as early as 1915, the memorial stones dedicated to the fallen decorated with a gold medal.
At the top is the fortress, perhaps built by Theodoric already in the river, restructured in the medieval period by the Patriarchs of Aquileia and modified by the Venetians, to strengthen itself against the attacks of the Turks.
