A house located in the vicinity of several large properties. Quiet and calm. In the morning, singing birds wake you up. The beach is almost empty. Nearby (4km) the city of Licata with large and smaller shops, and street vendors. The shore of the sea is safe - a long shallow. A house built perfectly for those weather conditions. At a temperature of around 33-35 degrees, the temperature in the house never exceeded 26 degrees (with the air conditioning turned off and the doors and windows closed). The air conditioning works well and will reduce the temperature 3-4 degrees in half an hour. Bathroom clean and fresh. Spacious kitchen with all utensils, microwave and roaster/oven. A large new fridge. the bedrooms are on the north side - so it's the coldest place there inside the house. Windows with insect screen can be open all night. We did not use the salon because it was great weather and all meals were eaten outside (there are no mosquitoes). The terrace / arcade gives a lot of shade, the sun appears there around 17 o'clock for one hour. Outside the house is a shower to sprinkle salt on the beach after sunbathing. Near the house / terrace a lot of green plants and flowers for Sicilian conditions. A barbecue is available in the garden. On the terrace a large, very stable plastic table, chairs and deck chairs, also stable - made of thick plastic. A good starting point for exploring the whole island, and also for escaping from big cities. A place created for total rest and laziness. We go to the beach behind the gate - "to the left or to the right?" - this was our only problem there. Referring to the comments of people who described the broken bottles on the beach, or dirt on the beach - not true! Clean beach - we walked barefoot all the time - the problem was only in the afternoon because the sand was hot :) In addition, the fact that the inside of the house is dark is the result of wooden blinds, which of course can be set up so that it is bright inside, and during siesta you will appreciate that they are. LOVE THIS PLACE! REALLY BEAUTIFUL VACATIONS! PS. We will surely visit this place again.
