★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Overpriced, below average taste. 2 Stars while they have different seafood hamburgers, however we found them overpriced and the taste was not what you would expect in Italy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First place to make me realize I could hate a pasta. The most horrible pasta I've ever had in Italy. It was not fully cooked. And for a vongole menu there were maybe 5 piece of small vongole. 13€ excluding servizio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Franlky we expected a Hosteria-like experience but we got something different. Food was cooked and presented ok but the taste was neutral. We took spaghetti with vongole veraci, dish of the day, and the dish was average. Mixed fish appetizer was average, likewise mixed salad. Wine selection not bad. The bill was not for a "burgeria" but rather for a restaurant. The place is nice but located in downton Padua thus you cannot get there by car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Food was quite nice and reasonably priced. We asked for tap water and when paying were charged extras of 4.50€(for 3 coperto) and 2€ for water. When queried on paying were told is filtered water! Told them was not nice to charge such things. Particularly for the water! Be warned. Not surprisingly gave no tip!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got there almost by luck, was deciding if go into a Trattoria close by, which has been included in the Michelin guide five times, dressed like a ragamuffin. Found "The Squid" few meters away and got both curious and excited by the idea of trying "sea hamburgers". Even if the name may trick you, burgers are actually made out of fish, not sea water. Couldn't complain at all. If you don't like fish there's a small meat choice as well as vegetarian.
Anyway, starters we absolutely good and burgers, well, burgers were AWESOME. Prawns and redbanded scorpionfish (or rockfish, as you would call it) in tempura combined with greens, dried vegetables and fresh sweet cheese made a great combination that I will not forget easily. Place is spacious and cozy and the owner is friendly and nice.
Totally recommended!
