Ènne realizzata come padiglione britannico all'Esposizione internazionale di Roma del 1911. Il terreno fu quindi donato dallo Stato italiano e l'edificio permanente venne completato nel 1916.
 It aims to promote the knowledge and involvement of British and Commonwealth scholars and artists with all aspects of Italian history, culture and art and to foster international and interdisciplinary exchange.
It was built as a British pavilion at the International Exhibition in Rome in 1911. The land was then donated by the Italian State and the permanent building was completed in 1916.

I like it, I would like to attend it but given my age I give way to posterity. I have to say that the environment is very welcoming "apart from the pretty secretary" but the silence that reigns means that it is a place where you study and learn well . Greetings
