★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We were in Lucca for a month and went to several vineyards. Terre Del Sillabo was a stand out. Known for its white wines - it produces a particularly good Sauvignon. It is owned by a delightful couple, Gianpio and Clara who provided generous servings of all their wines both red and white along with focaccia. Their young daughter, Allegra, even gave an impromptu violin recital. The vineyard is easy to reach without the usual harrowing drive and is just a few miles outside Lucca. Great wine, great people, great experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most unique vineyards I have ever visited. Terre del Sillabo is located up in the hills about 20 minutes outside of Lucca and well worth trip. The wine was fantastic and so reasonably priced. One of the reds had an earthy taste that was so unique. Could not recommend enough!
