The tour was quick but informative. Beautiful grounds and pampered animals. The gelato was good. Not great. The staff had the same pretentious indifference we are experiencing on much of this trip. Don't take it personally. If you are in Paestum, it is certainly work the stop. If you want mozzarella, go early. We were leaving around noon and the 400kg they make each day was gone.

I really loved this place, mozzarella is amazing and the whole property is beautiful. It is an organic farm and organic mozzarella, which is great, but it is a shame that the buffalo cows (that give the milk) are not allowed to go outside at all. I'm not a welfare animal expert, but the cows did seem happy and the milking machine is automated and knows when to pull the milk out (as it senses when the cow is ready). Also, the cows need to go through the milking machine in order to get to the food, so one can say they're not forced to go by human hand, they are conditioned to go through the machine. There were dejects all over the floor and their paws were filthy as well - I'm sure if they could walk around outside part of the day, this would be fixed. Also, this particular species is a water buffalo, so it is a shame that they don't have access to a small pond/pool.

Excellent place to discover the manufacturing of mozzarella! We booked a tour in the morning to visit the stable and the processing place. It lasted 35 min and we ate a few mozzarella at the end. Was fun and informative. Even if you don't book a tour you can see the buffalas and take a peek in the manufacturing place (morning only). The restaurant is nice and worth it to try some product like the butter and ricotta daily made. There is also a leather shop and a yoghurteria where you can even buy bread!

The products and facilities are great. I would recommend visiting, but not taking the tour. Unlike other cheese making tours you cannot enter the room where the cheese is made (even with protective clothing) and instead can only watch through a dirty and steamed up window that is accessible to all on the property. Our tour guide, although informative, was messaging on her phone the entire tour and seemed like she wanted to be anywhere other than answering our questions.

Great place to do a day trip from Naples. Also see the Greek ruins just done the road. We did tour at the farm and had Buffalo mozzarella at the end. Quick tour about 45 min. All you need.

Off the main (summer) season, this is a great place to relax and recharge batteries - peaceful, serene, well maintained. Recommended: fresh brioche with buffalo yogurt.
