★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visita al Castello molto limitata. Abbiamo visto una chiesetta e 3 stanze in croce...per di più non abbiamo nemmeno potuto guardare con attenzione i contenuti delle stanze. Non parliamo poi della degustazione eravamo in venti persone e sono riusciti ad adoperare due bottiglie di vino in croce per non parlare del cibo che accompagnava la degustazione veramente deludente... da non ripetersi
Very limited visit to the Castle. We saw a small church and 3 rooms on the cross ... moreover we could not even look carefully at the contents of the rooms. Let's not talk about the tasting, we were twenty people and they managed to use two bottles of wine on the cross, not to mention the food that accompanied the truly disappointing tasting ... not to be repeated

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono stata al castello per una visita guidata privata (20€ a persona). Maurizio, la guida, è un vero oratore, grande conoscitore della storia dell'edificio. Ha saputo illustrare con precisione sia l'esterno che l'interno del maniero. Ottima anche la degustazione dei vini del luogo, spiegati con cura. Altrettanto preziosa la visita alle cantine con la guida di Angela che ha spiegato il procedimento di produzione del vino. Un luogo che vale la pena di essere conosciuto. A presto.
I went to the castle for a private guided tour (20 € per person). Maurizio, the guide, is a real speaker, a great connoisseur of the history of the building. He was able to accurately illustrate both the exterior and the interior of the manor. The tasting of local wines is also excellent, explained with care. Equally precious is the visit to the cellars with the guide of Angela who explained the wine production process. A place worth knowing. See you soon.

It used to be a military fortress with a long history. Today, the experience kitchen and the production of very high quality wine where you can also order a tasting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bel castello nella zona dei vini della Valcalepio. Sul loro sito ufficiale c'è un'immagine dall'alto del castello e della torre che rende meglio delle mie foto.
Ospita una tenuta vitivinicola.??
Molto bello il percorso pedonale sotto il castello: prima della vendemmia é ombreggiato dai tralci di vite e vi penzolano i grappoli d'uva.?
Se lo visitate vi consiglio di salire a piedi lungo la via Calvario. Sopra si gode di un ottimo panorama dei vigneti.
I ciclisti raggiungono Pantaleone e scollinano da Gandosso fino a Sarnico.

Beautiful castle in the Valcalepio wine area. On their official website there is an image from the top of the castle and tower which looks better than my photos.
It houses a wine estate
The pedestrian path under the castle is very beautiful: before the harvest it is shaded by the vine shoots and the bunches of grapes dangle.
If you visit it, I recommend that you walk up Via Calvario. Above you can enjoy an excellent view of the vineyards.
Cyclists reach Pantaleone and cross the hill from Gandosso to Sarnico.
