★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il tempio etrusco di Punta della Vipera risalente al 540-430 a. C., e' nel territorio del comune di Santa Marinella; si ha notizia della sua esistenza già nel XVIII (1777) secolo durante gli scavi di Gaetano Torraca.
Fu poi scavato uffiacialmente nel 1964 dall'arch. Mario Torelli;
vi fu trovata una lamina di piombo con incisioni etrusche in entrambi
i lati, datata V sec. a.C. e nota come "Lamina di Santa Marinella".
Purtroppo al giorno d'oggi è in completo stato di abbandono e ricoperto dalla vegetazione.
The Etruscan temple of Punta della Vipera dating back to 540-430 BC. C., is in the territory of the municipality of Santa Marinella; we know of its existence already in the XVIII (1777) century during the excavations of Gaetano Torraca.
It was then officially excavated in 1964 by the arch. Mario Torelli;
a sheet of lead was found with Etruscan engravings in both
the sides, dated 5th century B.C. and known as "Lamina di Santa Marinella".
Unfortunately nowadays it is in a complete state of neglect and covered by vegetation.
