Ringraziamo quella grulla spocchiosa della "sindaca" che appoggia questa gestione di vandali. Non ha tantissimi posti e le file laterali a mio avviso sono troppo esterne e non consentono una piena visibilitá Nice theater with comfortable armchairs in red velvet, parquet, upper balcony, access for the disabled, large enough stage with a hole in front sufficient for a small orchestra. It does not have many places and the side rows in my opinion are too external and do not allow full visibility

Invece di destinare altri spazi molto più nobili e di provata efficacia, a un utilizzo "commerciale", destinando questa "piazza del mercato" alla cultura, si dovrebbero trovare i mezzi per ricondurre ai fasti del passato un teatro Valle e diversi confratelli, lasciando che nel Nazionale si avvicendino feste paesane o mostre mercato, o forse un centro commerciale dotato di fast(i) food So many reasons for discontent, a space unsuitable for what is now called a live show. GRAVISSIMO.l entrata del teatro risulta anonima, la sala è bella ,forse è il colore rosso che esalta la sua bellezza!posizione scomoda per chi viaggia in macchina .affianco vi è un bar dove l igiene per me che sono del mestiere scarseggia come anche la cortesia. Foto del bar inserita BAR DEL VIMINALE! nn vi è accesso per gli handicap There are no parking spaces for the disabled! VERY SERIOUS. C	Carlo Carlevale on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ L’attuale Teatro Nazionale, situato su via del Viminale angolo via Agostino Depretis, nacque come sala cinematografica, con il nome di Supercinema e venne edificato nel 1925. Il proprietario, commendatore Urbano Rattazzi, ne affidò la progettazione agli architetti Arnaldo Foschini ed Attilio Spaccarelli, coadiuvati dall’Ing. Giacomo Giobbe. Il locale inserito in un edificio preesistente, nacque dotato di una sala che misurava 36 metri di lunghezza e 30 metri di larghezza; la capienza originaria era di 2500 posti ripartiti tra platea e gallerie. I decori interni erano in stile liberty italiano, impreziositi da stucchi dorati, pitture, pietre e stoffe. Anche se la sua funzione primaria era appunto quella di sala cinematografica, la presenza di una buca per l’orchestra sta ad indicare che vi avessero luogo, in alternanza, anche altri generi di spettacolo, come ad esempio il varietà e l’avanspettacolo. Dal dopoguerra in poi la destinazione d’uso divenne unica, a favore del cinema per il quale del resto era nato. Alla fine degli anni ’90 il Supercinema venne acquisito dal Comune di Roma e consegnato come ulteriore spazio alla Fondazione Teatro dell’Opera di Roma. Da visitare quando sarà possibile. The current National Theater, located on via del Viminale at the corner of via Agostino Depretis, was born as a cinema, with the name of Supercinema and was built in 1925. The owner, commander Urbano Rattazzi, entrusted the design to the architects Arnaldo Foschini and Attilio Spaccarelli , assisted by Eng. Giacomo Job. The room, inserted in a pre-existing building, was born with a room measuring 36 meters in length and 30 meters in width; the original capacity was 2500 seats divided between stalls and galleries. The interior decorations were in the Italian Art Nouveau style, embellished with gilded stuccoes, paintings, stones and fabrics. Although its primary function was precisely that of a cinema, the presence of a pit for the orchestra indicates that other genres of entertainment took place here, alternating, such as variety and the show. From the postwar period onwards, the intended use became unique, in favor of the cinema for which it was born.
