Energia allo stato puro trasmessa in crescendo a un pubblico partecipe e caloroso. Sintonia perfetta fra i componenti con momenti di commozione profonda quando si leva il canto per Angela e il suo piccolo nato a Genova dopo il viaggio su un barcone in fuga dalla Nigeria. Domani si replica per i detenuti. Quanta gioia porterà loro questo spettacolo? Bello pensare che sia l'esordio della prima rassegna di musica e teatro civile. I genovesi devono abituarsi a pensare che anche questo è il loro teatro. 2017 Ho assistito qui a uno straordinario concerto del chitarrista Paolo Schianchi il 6 maggio 2017 sera. Un teatro vero, con ampio palcoscenico, comode sedute e un'ottima acustica, diventa elemento di contatto fra la città e il carcere. Emozionante in sé l'esibizione di un musicista eccezionale per tecnica, doti interpretative e qualità umane. L'emozione più forte: l'applauso reciproco fra i detenuti e il pubblico, seguito a un "grazie di essere venuti" gridato da un detenuto, come si usa con gli ospiti alla fine di una serata trascorsa in compagnia... e l'augurio di una buonanotte che immagino essere stata migliore di altre per tutti; anche se è stato inevitabile confrontare quella di chi è uscito per tornare a casa e quella di chi è rientrato in cella. Qui la detenzione può divenire davvero rieducazione e recupero e la pena percorso verso una libertà riconquistata, anche attraverso la cultura e il contatto con la società. 2018 I will be back on October 14, 2018 at the Teatro dell'Arca for the concert of the band in piazza Loading directed by Davide Ferrari.
