 A lunch before walking around Gradara. Soup With sausage, kebabs and delicious first courses. Great and friendly service. Divine sweet for children!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottima la presentazione ed il sapore dei pasti, bel panorama e posizione. Forse un po' caro ma vista l'eccezionalità della posizione e la ricercatezza dei pasti ci sta. Un po' troppo spartani i servizi igienici.
Excellent presentation and flavor of the meals, beautiful view and location. Maybe a little expensive but given the exceptional location and the refinement of the meals it fits. The toilets are a little too basic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ristorantino molto carino situato all'interno del borgo medievale di Gradara, posto ai bordi delle belle mure del paese con una bella terrazza panoramica all'aperto proprio adiacente ad esse.
Il menù offre un interessante offerta di piatti tipici leggermente impreziositi con buone modifiche e sicuramente il gusto delle pietanze assaggiate rispecchia le aspettative lette in menù con sapori molto buoni e l'estetica invitante dei piatti.
Una nota molto positiva è il servizio, effettuato in modo cordiale dallo staff e nel nostro caso la messa in tavola è stata decisamente veloce.
Very nice little restaurant located inside the medieval village of Gradara, located on the edge of the beautiful walls of the town with a beautiful outdoor panoramic terrace right next to them.
The menu offers an interesting offer of typical dishes slightly embellished with good modifications and certainly the taste of the dishes tasted reflects the expectations read in the menu with very good flavors and the inviting aesthetics of the dishes.
A very positive note is the service, carried out in a friendly way by the staff and in our case the table setting was very fast.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Di nome la Taverna fa Paradiso, il caldo di questi giorni evoca l'Inferno: l'esperienza culinaria si colloca nel mezzo, nel Purgatorio.
Lo spaghettome alla carbonara, dall'impatto visivo promettente, viene sopraffatto da un tartufo un poco invadente e da una cottura parsa eccessiva.
I cappellacci al formaggio di fossa e salsiccia su letto di zafferano sono parsi più godibili, se pur al di sotto dell'invitante impiattamento.
Anche le due tagliate, nelle versioni aceto balsamico e sale di Cervia con rosmarino, non hanno convinto del tutto, nonostante siano arrivate perfettamente al sangue come da richiesta.
Eccellenti, invece, le patate arrosto di accompagnamento
Un'ottima bottiglia di Sangiovese riserva servita a temperatura particolarmente elevata non aiuta il giudizio per quello che riguarda la parte enoica.
Il servizio, invece, si guadagna il massimo dei voti quanto a gentilezza, puntualità ed efficienza.
Nel complesso un'esperienza certamente condizionata da una temperatura esterna che non invitava a rilassarsi a dovere.
Da riprovare.
The name of the Taverna makes Paradise, the heat of these days evokes Hell: the culinary experience is located in the middle, in Purgatory.
Spaghettome alla carbonara, with a promising visual impact, is overwhelmed by a slightly intrusive truffle and by a cooking that seemed excessive.
Cappellacci with pit cheese and sausage on a bed of saffron seemed more enjoyable, albeit below the inviting plate.
Even the two cut, in the balsamic vinegar and Cervia salt with rosemary versions, were not entirely convincing, despite the fact that they arrived perfectly rare as requested.
The accompanying roast potatoes are excellent
An excellent bottle of Sangiovese Riserva served at a particularly high temperature does not help the judgment as regards the wine part.
The service, on the other hand, earns top marks in terms of kindness, punctuality and efficiency.
Overall an experience certainly conditioned by an external temperature that did not invite you to relax properly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Agosto 2021. Cena per tre prenotata alle 19.30, siamo arrivati un pò prima ma non c'è stato nessun problema. Il tavolo all'esterno con visuale sulle colline e sull'autostrada lontana. Una leggera brezza allevia il caldo del periodo. Il personale molto gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto di affettati e formaggi con miele di fragola e limone....molto graditi. Abbiamo preso tre primi (cappellacci di sfoglia al formaggio di fossa, ravioli all'ortica e strozzapreti al pesto), il tutto molto buono e ben servito. Poi la pancia era piena ed è stato preso solo un dolce di crema e pistacchi. Acqua, calice di Sangiovese, caffè. Prezzo 68€. Ottima cena. L'unica cosa non so se lo scontrino sia fiscale, me ne sono accorto il giorno dopo.
August 2021. Dinner for three booked at 7.30pm, we arrived a little earlier but there was no problem. The table outside with a view of the hills and the distant highway. A light breeze relieves the heat of the period. The staff very polite and helpful. We started with an appetizer of meats and cheeses with strawberry honey and lemon .... very welcome. We had three first courses (puff pastry cappellacci with fossa cheese, ravioli with nettle and strozzapreti with pesto), all very good and well served. Then the belly was full and only a cream and pistachio dessert was taken. Water, glass of Sangiovese, coffee. Price 68 €. Great dinner. The only thing I don't know if the receipt is fiscal, I realized it the next day.
