Anche se il menù non offre una scelta molto ampia, la quantità di cibo che ci è arrivata ad ogni porta giustifica ampiamente i prezzi solo in apparenza di poco sopra la media. Ha un piacevole spazio all'aperto, una sala in veranda e una sala interna in stile casale ristrutturato abruzzese. Il personale, molto cortese, ha fatto di tutto per metterci a nostro agio. Il menù decisamente agganciato alla tradizione locale prevede piatti tipici, altri più turistici, con un deciso orientamento all'uso degli ottimi prodotti locali. Eravamo stati tentati dalle pappardelle alla cacciagione (cinghiale) ma poi abbiamo ripiegato sul classico arrosto misto con contorno di patate al forno cucinate benissimo in tegami di coccio. La carne freschissima e cotta sapientemente. Insomma, quel po' che abbiamo assaggiato è stato molto soddisfacente. Il prezzo assolutamente nella media per la zona. Metto prudentemente quattro stelle suscettibile di promozione alla prossima visita. Aggiornamento. Siamo tornati, confermata l'ottima impressione. Located in a quiet location near the village of Manoppello, in a green area along the road leading to Serramonacesca, the Don Fumino restaurant is a classic country restaurant. It has a pleasant outdoor space, a lounge on the veranda and an internal room in a renovated Abruzzo farmhouse style. The staff, very courteous, went out of their way to make us comfortable. The menu decidedly linked to local tradition includes typical dishes, others more touristy, with a strong orientation to the use of excellent local products. We were tempted by the pappardelle alla game (wild boar) but then we fell back on the classic mixed roast with a side of baked potatoes cooked very well in earthenware pans. The fresh and expertly cooked meat. In short, what little we tasted was very satisfying. The price is absolutely average for the area. I cautiously put four stars open to promotion on the next visit. Update. We returned, confirmed the excellent impression. Exaggerated Don Fumino appetizer, excellent sagne and chickpeas in crust and tripe with sauce. Upgraded to 5 stars in my personal ranking.

L'interno è di tipo rustico e dispone di due sale interne e pochi posti a sedere all'estero con una piccola area giochi per i più piccoli. Buona l'offerta e la qualità culinaria costituita da poche scelte in menù a prevalenza locale e della tradizione. Buoni anche i prezzi. I locali interni sono climatizzati. Ampio parcheggio esterno antistante il locale. Personale gentile e disponibile. Located on the outskirts of Manoppello in a quiet place. The interior is rustic in style and has two internal rooms and a few seats abroad with a small play area for the little ones. The offer is good and the culinary quality made up of a few choices in menus predominantly local and traditional. The prices are also good. The internal rooms are air conditioned.
