A very cozy and beautiful restaurant at the shore of Lago Maggiore. The staff was very friendly, welcoming and service minded. We were offered homemade bread while waiting for our meal. The food served was very tastefully presented on the plates and really invited to enjoy the dish. The food was accompanied by refined selection of Italian wines carefully proposed by the staff. Don't forget to end the meal with one (or more) of their lovely desserts.

I found the place very beautiful and I'll tell you why. Good things about it: -clean and tidy, not one corner of it was showing any hygiene flaw -Cosy and well done, the inside is very well decorated with warm lights, warm paint, much furniture made out of wood and much display of wine bottles -food was really delicious and I'm Italian so I know when Italian food is good. -The master chef and founder of the place came to say hello! -there's a balcony straight out on the lake's waterfront -very interesting options from the menu. -located on a beautiful Lake called Lago maggiore and in a small beautiful town called Arona. A must if you've never seen it. -see-through lit glass panels to get to the toilet and black marble alternated with plain mirrors in the toilet. Great cool look -they bake their own bread other than everything else. They have very interesting recipes of it. -customer service was very good and polite. Things I didn't really like: - quite on the expensive side. One wine is around 8 euros per glass. One first course is around 15 euros average. We didn't check the rest cause we weren't very hungry but it was way more expensive. Desserts are around 8 euro average. Service charge 3.5 euros. Expensive. Not for young people depending from their parents more for families or important events. - The floor tiles on the balcony looked a bit outdated and not of a great color. I think they'd need a changing. But that's my personal opinion. -The waiter knew little about the wine characteristics. Conclusion: Great place, great food and great views. I recommend it. But be prepared for a minimum spend of 25-30 euros for a wine and a first course only.
