★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tourist trap. With five, full, big busses on one big boat. Not enough space for people to sit comfortably. Inside below it was steamy hot, no sufficient airo. People getting sick from the heat. Getting on and of the boat was terrible, almost fights about the best places, every time. It felt like cattle transport. Dropped off on two island to spend your money in restaurants and curious shops. We spend a lot of money to survive this day. I regret booking this trip. Never again, not for us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely not recommend. Even though we knew to except a big boat tour, our bus of 60 people was one of the 4 or 5 to go there. There are not enough seats for everyone. We had to stay onboard as the captain could not manage to let us go to the Harbour in Stromboli, which means that for four very long hours we stayed on waves waiting for the sun to go down, living on on top of each other. Nothing was provided to us and obviously no matter what you would purchase on the boat is extremely overpriced. Lots of people got really sick, it was long and boring for everyone. Panarea had not much to offer, big rip off as well.. closest beach is 30min walking and the prices are exploding there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recipe for a superspreader event:
1. don’t tell people to wear masks all the time during bording.
2. Tell them via speakers later when nobody is listening anyways and don’t enforce masks.
3. Book your boat to maximum capacity, so that every square cm is packed with people who also don’t give a f*%k that we are in the middle of a pandemic.
4. Make you staff wear masks sometimes, but make sure that most of the trip they are at the back of the boat smoking.
Would have never booked this if I’d known. Thought Italiens with the learnings earlier this year would be wiser. But it seems that greed always wins over safety concerns.

From A-Z a waste of money. Better book with other serious company’s like Libertylines.
Totally overbooked ships with close to no commodities. Zero distance and people not wearing masks. So many passengers that you basically have to sit shoulder to shoulder.The guides only speak italian and a bit of broken english and german allthougt there where 6 of them!
The Islands are quite nice so please do that tour with another company.
After having dinner on Stromboli (amazing Food) we where looking forward to the highlight: the famous eruptions of the volcano. After leaving 20 minutes early the captain only let us whatch for about 20 minutes before taking of back towards Milazzo. Only one side of the ship got to see an eruption. Due to the overcrowded situation you have no chance to switch sides.
So please really consider booking with this company as there is no pleasure at all. This was really the worst part of our otherwise amazing trip to Sicily.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The tour is amazing but the experience has been spoiled due to the massive visitors are arranged by the Tarnav. I have some safety concern. By the way, the sea, the islands, the archipelago itself are awesome. A paradise to be experienced once.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tour Lipari-Vulcano on a Wednesday in September:
Parking as a tourist is difficult near the harbour. There are guys going on bicycles up and done the road. You follow them to a nearby building where you leave the car with the key. They store it somewhere else. (No rip off.) paid 15€ till evening.
Arrived at 9am. Quo was already long. We only got seats in the lower deck. You got regular information during the ride through loudspeaker. 4 languages: Italian, English, French and German. In the lower deck you could barely understand it due to the engine noise.
Tipp: when you board the boat, take a seat on the right side. You will get a better view.
Itinerary: 10:30 arrival at Lipari with a 3h stay. 14:00 arrival with a 2,45h stay. (Just long enough to take the hiking to the crater.)
Personnel was friendly. Frequent reminding to wear a mask. Safety distance was not possible.
Bare in mind: it is THE tourism tour. If you want to take it more individual, take liberty lines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This company is a big scam. They sell tickets that say 9:30, you arrive in the port at 9:20, try to get to the boat, which is difficult and they offer no help with this, then the boat leaves without you at 9:25 as you helplessly watch it leave in front of your eyes and they refuse to give you a refund. The ticket says 9:30 but they do not mention if that is departure time or 30mins before, the words they use are very confusing. Also, the man at the ticket office confirms that the boat left earlier and refuses to help, gets angry and also shouts at us. Horrible experience. I strongly recommend you choose any other company, Liberty was great for us. Will take things further, my lawyer considers it a legal matter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The night cruise on the strombolli will remain in our memory for a long time. The crew was kind, very polite and open. The cruise passed us in a pleasant atmosphere, playing the guitar and singing Polish, English and Italian songs with our friends and crew. It was very nice of the crew that they waited quite a long time until we could see a few small volcanic eruptions and only after we enjoyed the spectacular spectacle of the volcano, we sailed back.
