This was an incredible experience. The school is perfectly located on the coast of a nice harbor. The weather conditions are suitable for both begginners and advanced level. Zeppe is a professional teacher who provides well structured lessons. Many thanks Segnana - you made my holiday much better than it already was! Fully recommended!

I really nice panorama beach you will find here, surrounded by the south Alpes. It is also a really good windsurf and kitesurf spot here.

Very bad customer service: We spent a fair amount of money on a packet including rental of the material for four days and two lessons with a surf coach. We unfortunarely picked a bad time for this packet for the wind was lacking and it frequently rained. Therefore out of the possible 4 days of surfing we only were able to use 1.5 days. With the intention to discuss this matter with the responsible person of Surf Segnana we adressed the topic in the office. There we were rudely treated as the chef didn't even bother to show up. Through the employees we were confronted with unmovable facts as they weren't in the position to negotiate and couldn't be held responsible. In the end we spent double the money we would have effectively needed and there was no way of accomodation (voucher) or even the slightest interest in a respectful treatment of their customers. This  really had an impact on our surf ecperience. Next time we will definitely choose another company.

We booked 6 full days (in the morning and evening) of kitesurfing lessons and had an amazing experience. There was a maximum of 2 other „students“ on the boat which is pretty nice. Sometimes we even got private lessons when the course wasn’t fully booked. Concerning the super-friendly and competent instructor staff, there is not a single bad thing that I could say. Great job!

I went to their office and asked for surf lessons as an advanced beginner. I was sold a three day package including rental of board/sail/wetsuit/vest and two surf lessons. The lady at the office told me, that all options are flexible and can be adjusted, if needed. Unfortunately I didn't check the rental equipment and didn't read the terms and conditions carefully before booking. The rental equipment (at least for beginners) is in really bad shape. - The boards (I had various different ~180l to ~230l boards) are at best OK. Many boards have broken-off edges and the grip-foam is falling off everywhere. - The sails and rigs are in a bad condition. Many sails (the foil ones) already taped, I had a mast where CFRG splinters where sticking out, the handles of almost all booms I got where broken. - Life vests (mandatory at the lake): All broken, usually the foam filling was already falling out and one of the three latches was missing. - Wet suits: I got three different ones. Two were slightly damaged (some thin spots), the last one was a long wetsuit where the arms and legs have been cut-off really inaccurately. It was given to me as a shorty :/ The day after booking, the weather forecast changed to almost no wind and rain for the next two days. So, I went to the office I wanted to shift the rental days and lessons. There, I was told, that this was not possible with the package I booked. When I insisted that this flexibility was told to me, the guys in the office behaved like they could neither understand English nor German properly. I left the office quite unsatisfied and took the already booked lesson for this and the next day in the mornings. Surfing in the afternoons was impossible due to rain/no wind. I repeated to ask for any coverup for the 'lost days' everyday of my rental period, but with no success and not much friendliness from the office staff. It seems, that no one cares anymore after the rental is paid. The third day, the weather was fine again. But, to my surprise, the type of board I rented was not available anymore, because they seem to have overbooked their surfing classes. I was offered a board from the last season, which was in even worse shape. Luckily, in the afternoon, after all lessons where over, I got the board I was already used to. Anyhow, the two lessons (I took with very little wind) were really good and the instructor friendly and helpful. That's why I give one star :) After all, I can absolutely not recommend renting equipment here. Next time, I will try one of the many other schools around.

Very good experience in October, good weather conditions / few people. A very wide range of very good and recent equipment available (windsurf). Nice atmosphere, only friendly and smily faces around. Everything feels really simple and easy. I would not hesitate to come back.

My experience was not that good, first of all the toilets are weird and not clean at all. The girls at the rezeption weren‘t friendly at all and pushed me away. I wanted do sign my kid up for a windsurf course, I unsubscribed after 1 day because the teacher were only talking to each other and my kid came back and told me so many bad things. I really expected more…

good experience. i bought the mini package which included 2 lessons and a bike for 3 days. just what you need in riva. the instructors were good. but windsurfing is not easy ? the beach were their store is is wonderful. i recommend the stretching session in the morning.
