★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stasera mi sono recata al supermercato Crai di Alassio e ho chiesto del salame piccante ma il salumiere si è rifiutato perché sporcava la macchina potendolo affettare solo a mano. Mi ha risposto che è una regola del supermercato. Mi è sembrato strano visto che in altri supermercati sono stata servita senza problemi. Mi domando se effettivamente è una regola del supermercato o poca voglia del salumiere di pulire la macchina.
 Tonight I went to the Crai supermarket in Alassio and asked for some spicy salami but the butcher refused because he made the machine dirty and could only slice it by hand. He replied that it's a supermarket rule. It seemed strange to me since in other supermarkets I was served without problems. I wonder if it is actually a rule of the supermarket or if the butcher does not want to clean the car.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Etwas kleines Sortiment für einen Supermarkt. Aber alles da. Gute Abteilung für frisches Gemüse und Früchte. Ein bisschen grösser und fünf Sterne wären auf sicher. Eine Empfehlung für das tägliche Shopping.
Somewhat small assortment for a supermarket. But everything is there. Good department for fresh vegetables and fruits. A little bigger and five stars would be safe. A recommendation for everyday shopping.

We had a great time in this supermarket. Fresh fruit and vegetables. Meats and cheeses are also excellent. The staff was always polite and helpful. Even three years ago we had provided at Crai and the experience had always been excellent. Thank you, see you soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Convenience size store in Alassio. Relatively cheap but as with most Italian shops and services, makes little provision for people with any form of disability.
No place to load basket onto counter, so basket on floor and bend to put everything on the counter. Ok if you have a healthy back, can reach, not in a wheelchair etc. Apart from that, it is a well placed little store toward the western end of town.
