I rented a mountain bike, then took the Como–Brunate funicular with the bike. Once I got to the top, I rode the mountain bike up to the Volta Lighthouse (Tempio Voltiano). It was like a two-hour spinning class - but the views were beautiful. The bike held up well to the trails. Would definitely rent again.

Everything was easy and off we went. The bikes were easy to ride with no problems at all. Included was a chain and padlock so you can lock the bikes, have lunch and a walk before returning. The father and son team were easy to talk to and made the process very straight forward.

The I-pad photos add another dimension, and the commentary is interesting and informative. Sergio was a wonderful host, who always had something to add in terms of local knowledge. Add to all that the beauty and freedom of cruising around the lake on an e-bike and you have an altogether wonderful experience! I fully recommend!

Sergio was very supportive and caring during our tour and nothing was too much trouble for him. The iPad on every individual bike and the information it contained was an excellent idea as it gave us immediate access to photos and history for each stop which supplemented Sergio's verbal commentary. I came to Como and on a whim decided to rent a bike for my 3-day stay outside of Como (if you don’t have a car it’s hard to get around the lake because the bus and boat are not very frequent). I spoke with Sergei on the phone and he helped me select a bike that would fit my needs. He waived several of the normal fees and helped me get set up with everything I needed including a chain lock, helmet and a flat kit. The best part about this place is Sergei, who is warm and dedicated to helping out his customers. He also speaks great English for American and British tourists and has very informative bike tours of the city. I highly recommend!
