★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono stata nello studio dentistico Priotti per due interventi, uno dei quali un'emergenza: mi hanno fissato un appuntamento il prima possibile e hanno risolto il mio problema. Mi sono trovata benissimo e ho deciso di affidarmi allo studio e alla dottoressa per tutte le cure dentistiche.
 I was in the Priotti dental office for two operations, one of which was an emergency: they fixed an appointment as soon as possible and solved my problem. I had a great time and decided to rely on the studio and the doctor for all dental care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho prenotato tramite assicurazione in questo studio per prima visita e pulizia del tartaro, pagando in anticipo. Sono uscita senza aver eseguito la pulizia perché la dottoressa riteneva servissero più sedute e, parole sue, andando tramite assicurazione i tempi delle visite sono ristretti. Ora, mi chiedo, perché dare la possibilità di prenotare in anticipo se non si è certi delle tempistiche della prestazione? Forse perché fa comodo avere lo studiolo in centro al 4 piano e incassare soldi facili dall'assicurazione?
Sia chiaro, non sono un medico e avrà ragione lei su tutte le 4 sedute che mi ha preventivato, ma non sono neanche una scema e se pago un servizio in anticipo lo pretendo, oppure pretendo il rimborso. I 20 minuti e i 25 euro peggio spesi della mia vita.
I booked through insurance in this studio for first visit and tartar cleaning, paying in advance. I went out without cleaning because the doctor thought more sessions were needed and, in her words, by going through insurance, the times of the visits are limited. Now, I wonder, why give the opportunity to book in advance if you are not sure of the timing of the service? Perhaps because it is convenient to have the studio in the center on the 4th floor and collect easy money from the insurance?
Let me be clear, I am not a doctor and you will be right on all 4 sessions that you have budgeted for me, but I am not even a fool and if I pay for a service in advance I demand it, or I demand a refund. The worst 20 minutes and 25 euros spent in my life.

Diagnosi sbagliata: non si trattava di “… afta o forse abrasione… “ ma di herpes (stomatite erpetica).
Ho mandato la segnalazione alle autorità competenti in materia ma penso sia meglio condividerlo anche con chi legge.
Se proprio dovete avvalervi dello studio Priotti, e tenete presente che l’offerta lascia ampio margine a scelte alternative, prima di entrare chiedete il preventivo… potrebbe bastare superare l’ingresso per pagare parcelle salate!

Misdiagnosis: it was not a question of “… canker sores or perhaps abrasion…“ but herpes (herpetic stomatitis).
I sent the report to the competent authorities on the matter but I think it is better to share it with the reader as well.
If you really have to make use of the Priotti studio, and keep in mind that the offer leaves ample room for alternative choices, ask for a quote before entering ... it might be enough to go through the entrance to pay high fees!

Non ricordo di aver avuto mai problemi dopo operazioni fuori dal decorso normale, segno che lavorano bene. I prezzi sono medio-alti, ma giustificano la Qualità del servizio offerta.
with them for ten years, they guarantee a very clean working environment, professionalism and excellent advice on dental hygiene. I don't remember ever having problems after operations outside the normal course, a sign that they work well. The prices are medium-high, but they justify the quality of the service offered.
