Conosco l’autore per esserne un collega. Confesso di aver comprato il libro con assoluto spirito critico; forse addirittura con la inconfessata speranza di restarne deluso. Ne sono rimasto, invece, entusiasmato. La storia è impressionante (tanto più ove si consideri che trae spunto da un caso giudiziario di cui l’autore si è effettivamente interessato), ma ciò che lascia stupefatti è la parte legale, che non esito a definire una vera e propria lezione di “pratica forense”, impartita in pagine di alto profilo letterario. Pagine che mi hanno fatto rivivere “il sogno” d’essere penalista. La nostra classe ha bisogno di sognare. Credo che sia per questo che l’autore ha realizzato il lavoro. Un lavoro destinato ai giovani colleghi, capace di entusiasmare, però, anche un anziano.

I know the author for being a colleague. I confess that I bought the book with an absolute critical spirit; perhaps even with the unacknowledged hope of being disappointed. I was, however, enthusiastic about it. The story is impressive (all the more so when you consider that it is inspired by a judicial case in which the author actually took an interest), but what amazes you is the legal part, which I do not hesitate to define a real lesson in " forensic practice ”, given in pages of high literary profile. Pages that made me relive the "dream" of being a criminal lawyer. Our class needs to dream. I believe that is why the author made the work. A job intended for young colleagues, capable of enthusing even an elderly person.
