ENGLISH TEXT & TESTO ITALIANO (I HOPE THIS CAN BE SHARED WIDELY; I GUESS YOU CANNOT EVALUATE WITH LESS THAN ONE STAR) One of the worst experiences I had in this fantastic area. Having had a small issue with one of my mountain boots - used for trekking in summer -, I was seeking for an advice from one the most recommended shoe repairs of Brüneck area. The owner of the shop must have decided NOT to serve me (being an Italiener, I guess) at first sight, saying simply "no" with a very impolite attitude. I resisted to the temptation of getting out, asked anyway, and he grunted that he had no proper materials. I wish to share this experience since those people have to be pinpointed by customers - in general - but also by tourists, as they spoil the overall courtesy of all people from this area. I do not want to think that he behaved like that only for the hate that stupids feel for Italians in Alto Adige region. Finally, he does not really deserves to be a member of those artisans that from years and years serve people with kindness and efficiency.

One of the worst experiences I have ever had in this region that I love and that I attend in summer and winter. I had a small problem with a hiking boot and asked for a recommendation on the shoemaker that I could best help. I went to Armin Stricker in Brunico and understood from the first glance that he had already decided NOT to serve me. Without even seeing the conditions of the shoe, he said he had no time (although I hadn't asked him for anything urgent), and then he replied badly that he had no glues (!). I want to hope that he is only rude and that he has not behaved in this way because of discrimination against Italians; I would like this evaluation to be spread as much as possible because 1) these people deserve notes of demerit from customers; 2) these people perpetuate the silly clichés about the "crocchi" that detest Italians; 3) these people do not deserve to belong to a corporation of craftsmen who do extraordinary work with efficiency and courtesy.
