The murals are beautiful but the place where they were made leaves something to be desired

Idea aimed at enhancing the complex of public houses which unfortunately are in a form of slight deterioration

To visit the buildings with murals on their facades. You are in a place where the works of artists are the masters, with real modern paintings. To visit, because unexpectedly beautiful and fascinating.

A splendid example of how street art can give dignity, make social housing blocks otherwise destined for anonymity attractive and unmistakable.

Unique place, it is absolutely worth going to see it. Easily accessible as it is located on a side street of the Cristoforo Colombo (at the height of the region's palace). The lot that hosts this very successful urban redevelopment is easily accessible. I highly recommend it to architecture enthusiasts (given the history of the village of Tor Marancia), street art enthusiasts and those who want to take a nice walk

Bellissimo museo all'aperto.
A spring walk to do absolutely, another Rome to discover, that of those who take back their neighborhood, and take care of it and embellish it. Beautiful open-air museum.

In Rome we stayed at the Barceló Aran Mantegna hotel and when we left for the center for our tourist and cultural visit on the first day, I noticed some large murals that each occupied an entire facade of the buildings as I passed in one of the nearby streets. household. Curiosity got the best of me and the next morning when it dawned, I walked out to meet him. The surprise was monumental when I found myself with a great citizen project of mural graffiti in the city of Rome. The neighborhood is called Tor Marancia and it is surely the "quartiere" (neighborhood or district) as it is said in Italian, the most colorful in all of Rome. The project began in 2015 and for this reason some of the murals are somewhat more faded than at the beginning due to inclement weather, yet it is still the most visited Street Art Museum in all of Italy. The houses have huge facades. It is a neighborhood of social housing and schools, neighborhood associations and the more than five hundred families who live there worked on the project. The Tor Marancia quartiere and its walls were brought to life by the work of 22 international street artists, making it the largest street museum open 24 hours a day.
