★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I called a taxi from piazza Verbano Taxi Station. I shared my address and they assigned me a taxi with a precise number (7931) and told me the taxi was gonna be there in 8 minutes. After 8 minutes I was downstairs waiting. After 15 minutes the taxi still wasn’t there. I wanted to call back but of course they give your number to the taxi driver but they don’t give you the number of the taxi driver so you can’t contact him at all because the only number you can call is a pre registered call. I called a taxi to go to the station in time in order not to worry about public buses not passing, but not even when you’re willing to pay more for a service you can be sure that it works.
After waiting for 20 minutes I had no more spare time so at the end I had to run to the station not being sure I was going to make it.
The taxi driver never even called me to say it wasn’t coming. I wouldn’t suggest anybody to call this station since it’s clearly not reliable.
