★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nel paesino di Sant'Ilario, dietro Nervi, intorno al 1965 Giovanni Francia progettó e costruì il primo sistema solare al mondo a concentrazione puntuale. Di questo impianto, capace di produrre vapore a 150 atm e 500°C, di oggi resta ben poco; ma affacciandosi dai muretti che delimitano le tipiche crêuze genovesi si può ancora vedere lo scheletro della struttura e qualche specchio ancora intatto.
 In the village of Sant'Ilario, behind Nervi, around 1965 Giovanni Francia designed and built the first solar system in the world with a point concentration.
