È usata, oltre dagli studenti e pendolari, anche dai turisti, dai frequentatori delle tante attività di ristorazione del borgo, e da chi si reca al mare. Forse una piccolissima rotonda all'ingresso della strada che arriva alla stazione avrebbe evitato che le auto che transitano sulla strada principale , possano sfrecciare a tutta velocità, e avrebbe evitato alle auto che vogliono immettersi in essa di rischiare qualche tamponamento.
