★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stazione ferroviaria di notevole importanza del passato perché congiunge due linee ferroviarie,una per Siracusa e l'altra per Gela passando per i monti iblei. È telecomandata dal d.c.o. presenta tre binari:uno per il corretto tracciato , uno di precedenza e il primo binario dirama i treni verso Gela. È sprovvista di biglietteria e di pensiline. Nella seconda metà del 2018 la linea è sottoposta a manutenzione.
Railway station of notable importance of the past because it joins two railway lines, one for Syracuse and the other for Gela passing through the iblei mountains. It is remotely controlled by d.c. it has three tracks: one for the correct path, one of precedence and the first track branches off the trains towards Gela. There is no ticket office or bus shelters. In the second half of 2018 the line is subject to maintenance.

È situata in una zona di campagna che ne scoraggia l'uso ai lentinesi (che possono servirsi invece della stazione principale situata nei pressi del centro abitato) e ne rende inappropriato il nome, che infatti un tempo era Valsavoia in onore della contrada attraversata. Dell'antico toponimo rimane traccia nella denominazione dell'omonima galleria di Valsavoia situata di poco più a nord e che ne instrada i treni indirizzandoli verso la provincia di Catania
