★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La statua di San Michele Arcangelo dimora nella prima curva della strada che da San Giovanni Rotondo porta a Foggia in memoria del terribile incidente del bus Sita del 1978 che costò la vita a due cittadini del posto , il fatale incidente poteva contare ben più vittime dato che il pulman rimase in bilico sulla scarpata .la statua si compone di otto pezzi assemblati tra loro ed è composta di resina polvere di marmo , fibra di vetro e ricoperta interamente con una patina di invecchiamento e trasparente acrilico per proteggerla dalle intemperie .
The statue of St. Michael the Archangel dwells in the first bend of the road that from San Giovanni Rotondo leads to Foggia in memory of the terrible Sita bus accident in 1978 that cost the lives of two local citizens, the fatal accident could have counted more victims since the bus remained poised on the escarpment .the statue is composed of eight pieces assembled together and is composed of marble powder resin, glass fiber and covered entirely with a patina of aging and transparent acrylic to protect it from the weather.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La nuova statua di San Michele Arcangelo ė stata eretta in seguito al deterioramento della precedente dovuto ad atti vandalici nel dicembre del 2006.La statua fu posta in quel punto del paese (al 4Km sp45bis per Foggia) in seguito all'incidente di un bus di linea accorso 8 in maggio 1978 dove perse la vita il solo autista Michele Lecce. La nuova statua collocata il 13 ottobre 2007 ė stata realizzata in resina e polvere di marmo ed ė una copia di un originale realizzata sempre dallo stesso artista Franco Bisceglia e conservata nel suo laboratorio privato.
The new statue of San Michele Arcangelo was erected following the deterioration of the previous one due to vandalism in December 2006.The statue was placed in that point of the town (at 4Km sp45bis for Foggia) following the accident of a bus line rushed 8 in May 1978 where the only driver Michele Lecce lost his life. The new statue placed on 13 October 2007 was made of resin and marble dust and is a copy of an original made by the same artist Franco Bisceglia and kept in his private laboratory.
