Per comprendere appieno il risultato finale è indispensabile vedere l' opera d'arte intorno a mezzogiorno o alla sera quando è illuminata da un fascio di luce. La posizione ideale per ammirare la statua è sul ponte che attraversa il fiume Marecchia, dove è posta anche una targa con la spiegazione dell' opera e chi l'ha eseguita. In realtà l' opera d'arte non è il manufatto in sé stesso ma l' ombra che si proietta a terra. È vista sicuramente da moltissime persone che praticano jogging, ma sullo stesso piano non risalta l' ombra proiettata dal sole, o dal faro, come se fosse una meridiana; l' effetto desiderato dall' artista è pienamente raggiunto se si ammira da lontano, ad una altezza superiore al piano di appoggio, ad un momento preciso. Non essendo protetta da nessuna recinzione potrebbe subire degli atti di vandalismo o manomissione in quanto è facilmente raggiungibile da tutti. Questa parte di Rimini è un museo a cielo aperto e non solo per le opere d'arte presenti ma anche per lo spettacolo offerto dalla natura per chi transita nella zona con lentezza e tranquillità d'arte animo.

It is certainly seen by many people who practice jogging, but on the same level the shadow cast by the sun or the lighthouse does not stand out, as if it were a sundial; the effect desired by the artist is fully achieved if it is admired from afar, at a height above the supporting surface, at a precise moment. Not being protected by any fence, it could suffer acts of vandalism or tampering as it is easily accessible by everyone. This part of Rimini is an open-air museum and not only for the works of art present but also for the spectacle offered by nature for those who pass through the area with slowness and tranquility of art soul.
