★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schöne Wanderung von Como aus mit toller Aussicht. Einfach immer dem ‚Poetry Way’ folgen. Oben gab es einen Snack in Brunante und runter sind wir dann mit der Zahnradbahn gefahren.
Nice hike from Como with great views. Just always follow the 'Poetry Way'. At the top we had a snack in Brunante and then we took the cog railway down.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing stairs into the woods which will take you straight to Brunate. I would definitely recommend it, if you want some sports and nice views combined.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The walk takes you up the hill to Brunate, where you can then take the funicular back down into Como. The walk up is pretty steep and involves a lot of steps. It took just over an hour, but was well worth it for the exercise and the views at the top.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The hike is a lovely activity to do outside. On some parts of the path the stairs are still ok, on some they are burried under earth and leaves from the trees. There are place were you can get a nice city panorama, mostly facing the city. On some parts, you can also see the lake, but not entirely. Some portions are still used by local people, so they are well maintaned. During the path, there are lots of signs with diferrent texts, in multiple languages (english, italian, french).
