 Beautiful garden ... well cared for .. beautiful walk .. among the green great meeting place for kids.the Cathedral is picturesque.

Le statue raffigurano la Madonna delle Grazie, San Giovanni Evangelista e Santa Maria Maddalena, opere commissionate dal viceré di Sicilia Ettore Pignatelli, conte e duca di Monteleone, per la chiesa di Santa Maria del Gesù o chiesa di Santa Maria la Nova dell'Ordine dei frati minori osservanti, oggi assemblate e custodite in unico monumento nella Cappella del Purgatorio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È Duomo della città di Vibo Valentia, chiesa antica e monumentale, di grandi dimensioni e bellezza esteriore e all"interno. È una delle più frequentate, bellissime e monumentali le statue non in marmo che adornano le navate. Pregiato e e ricco di marmi il grande altare centrale circondato a una fine e intarsiata seduta in ebano. Due altari minori molto belli in marmo sono posti ai fianchi dell'altare maggiore. Pavimentazione in marmo pregiato, confessionali. In locali attigui ospita il museo di oggetti sacri. Vi è un chiostro ben tenuto e diversi locali, teatrino compreso e sala conferenze. È molto bello da visitare. Le funzioni religiose sono di mattina e in serata. È retta da un ottimo parroco e tutta la comunità parrocchiale di occupa attivamente di aiutare gli ultimi, con la Casa di Marta struttura di accoglienza femminile e la Casa di Nazareth struttura maschile.
