★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a great little watering hole in a vibrant part of the city. It's small but great if you want to grab a couple drinks before heading out for the night. The bartender is very knowledgeable about all their great craft beers and speaks English brilliantly. Reasonably priced as well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This bar is basically the bomb. The lovely dude that runs it makes a brilliant beer called Sputnik. There is a sour version, but my favourites were the IPA and a beautiful dark brew, much lighter than most porters or stouts. We also smashed the perfect sandwich to accompany beer; pastrami and honey mustard on perfectly toasted bread, the kind of thing that only Italians could do better than New York. On top of all this, it's located on a lovely little street in one of my favourite Italian towns, which marries the best of Lombardy with contemporary vibes; multiculturalism and amazing street art mix with shiny, happy people. If you like beer, head to Spine!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Thai piace is perfect for a summer evening, terrace on an historic not crowded centre side street, walling distance from the hotel/hostel… and a great beer selection. Staff is passionate about what they do and the beers are excellent.
