The beach is very nice but the sand is dirty and there are to much people.

It's nice but too packet you lay on the beach like sardines. They need to get rid of the umbrella it makes the beach look small and absolutely no fun anymore. It used to be a lot better not anymore.

A super shame. Dirty, mega crowded (but only because people are sooo disorganized) and no proper sand, more “grass-sand”. The “beach clubs” are a joke (completely packed and just as dirty). The water is dream-like, transparent, clean, rocky and sandy and just refreshing. Beautiful. But hard to enjoy the water when you do not trust to leave your belongings on the beach alone and when you are surrounded by garbage. Great shame that authorities don’t do anything about it. Parking? A joke. We parked on a massive field in the end, where massive signs say “don’t park” but there are tens and tens of cars just parked there. They would have parking spaces just enough if people would park civilized. So far, the worst beach in Puglia. Not the nature, the people.

Great wild beach, reminds me old times, try to swim in straight line to island from white building - 400m swim

Went there on s windy day from Torre Lapillo in October and found a protected bay with very calm and crystal clear shallow water. Someone called the beach "wild".. I'd say it is anything but wild with a road just behind and a massive concrete structure on the middle of the beach... Beach itself is not too big but sheltered. Cleanliness is ok - like all other Salento beaches you can find rubbish glass plastic...and unfortunately dogs seem to be allowed everywhere

Beautiful, but crowded and short from the highway. While we were there a kid was hit by a car (and the medical services took almost an hour to get there). Thankfully the kid seemed to be ok.

Nice beach. But get very busy at weekends.

In mid September, the beach is calm and there is plenty of space in the public part. The sea seems clean, is shallow in the first few meters which makes it great for babies/children and is calm for swimmers. There is a nice bar available in the middle of the beach which also rents chairs/umbrellas.
