Leider sieht der Parkplatz aus wie bei uns die Kammer in der Müllverbrennungsanlage und es richt auch so. Sehr Schade das die Städte und die Einheimischen das nicht hinbekommen
 Super great beach and almost empty out of season.
Unfortunately, the parking lot looks like the chamber in our waste incineration plant and it works that way. It's a shame that the cities and the locals can't do that

Come danno a, pescare in questo luogo con un fiume che scarica così ?♂️
Lots of plastic and waste. The sea is transparent but bathing is prohibited. Taking a walk I understood why .....
As they give, to fish in this place with a river thus discharging ?♂️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Posto incantevole tutto scogli,portare scarpe adatte..ideale per fare foto ,ma non agevole per fare il bagno..Do 4 stelle per lo spettacolo della natura,ma ho notato che c'e sempre qualcuno che nei casolai abbandonati getta immondizia...è un peccato rovinare le bellezze della natura
Enchanting place all rocks, bring suitable shoes .. ideal for taking pictures, but not easy for swimming .. I do 4 stars for the spectacle of nature, but I noticed that there is always someone who throws garbage in the abandoned huts .. .it's a pity to spoil the beauties of nature

Alcune strutture abbandonate ricordano antiche terme e Resti di una chiesa Normanna meriterebbero cure ed adeguati restauri
Breathtaking views over the bay of San Cataldo whose view extends to Monte Monaco near San Vito lo Capo.
Some abandoned structures are reminiscent of ancient baths and the remains of a Norman church deserve care and adequate restoration

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ San Cataldo di Trappeto is a seaside area just outside the town, with residential villas overlooking the beach. It is a pretty bay but dirty and really dirty. I dont know it is because of the wave or it is just dirty. But we can't blame the government because it is our responsibility to keep it clean.
The Bay of San Cataldo is a very interesting area in which to spend some vacation days. The area is characterized by fine sand and clear waters.
The coastal area has some pine forests in the hinterland and the Cesine nature reserve which is advisable to visit because it is a beautiful example of Mediterranean scrub.
The beach is not particularly long and has a free part of the beach and some classic bathing establishments that offer a large number of services to their customers. The nearby marina is also very beautiful, which has recently been renovated and can accommodate up to 200 boats of various kinds.
Reaching the Bay of San Cataldo is quite simple: following the route of the Strada Statale 113, there is a small dirt road deviation near Contrada San Cataldo. Once you have taken the small road, continue for several hundred meters before reaching the bay.
