Spanò ha anche competenze storico-artistiche notevoli. Una piacevole sosta da consigliare sicuramente. Ottimo panino piastrato.
We stopped by chance and instead we were surprised by the friendliness, competence and courtesy of the owner and by the quality of the meats and cheeses. Not only that, Mr. Spanò also has remarkable historical and artistic skills. A pleasant stop to recommend. Excellent sandwich.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Salumeria storica dove si possono trovare solo salumi e formaggi di alta qualità e a km 0. Ricotta freschissima, mozzarelle siciliane, pecorino, provole, uova di galline allevate a terra. Ottima anche la pasta prodotta dal pastificio Lenato, con grano siciliano di proprietà dei produttori e asciugata naturalmente con metodo tradizionale, oltre ad essere trafilata al bronzo. Una piccola perla preziosa della gastronomia siciliana.
Historic delicatessen where you can find only high-quality cold cuts and cheeses at 0 km. Fresh ricotta, Sicilian mozzarella, pecorino, provole, eggs from free-range hens. The pasta produced by the Lenato pasta factory is also excellent, with Sicilian grain owned by the producers and naturally dried using the traditional method, in addition to being bronze drawn. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I popped in here by chance to get myself a panino after being at the Hospital. Lovely owner! Very friendly and very welcoming. My Italian is not great but we had a good chat anyway and he allowed me to sample some of the local wine. After just 15 minutes I was nearly drunk! He prepared my food with care and used some fine ingredients. This deli has a fantastic selection of meats and cheese. I'll definitely return.
