★ ★ ★ ★ ★ VORSICHT: Touristenabzocke!
Positiv: hier gibt es schöne Souvenirs und günstige Postkarten für die Heimat. Die Verkäuferinnen sind außerdem sehr nett und helfen weiter.
Negativ: zu den günstigen Postkarten, die man hier kauft, kann man hier auch Briefmarken erwerben. Jedoch nur für die "FriendPost" für 1,20 € je Stück. Der Preis ist grundsätzlich unbedenklich, denn auch bei der offiziellen italienischen Post kosten Briefmarken 1,15 € und sind somit fast doppelt so teuer wie in DE. Jedoch besteht die Abzocke in dem System von "FriendPost". Die Postkarten werden nach Einwurf in ein Verteilzentrum im Zentrum Italiens gebracht und von dort aus weitergeleitet. So zumindest das Versprechen. Denn im Regelfall sind die Postkarten dann meistens weg, also kommen nie am Ziel an oder, wenn sie dann mal kommen, dann mit mehreren Wochen bzw. Monaten Verspätung. Diese Briefmarken und die GELBEN Briefkästen sollten daher stets gemieden und die örtliche Postfiliale aufgesucht werden.
Sollte man dennoch versehentlich die Briefmarken gekauft haben, empfiehlt es sich, diese unter dem Vorwand zurück zu geben, dass man bei "FriendPost" angerufen habe und diese einem bedauerlicherweise mitteilten, dass die Post auf diesem Wege wesentlich länger unterwegs sei. So hat es zumindest bei uns funktioniert.

 CAUTION: Tourist rip-offs!
Positive: there are nice souvenirs and inexpensive postcards for home. The shop assistants are also very nice and help out.
Negative: In addition to the cheap postcards that you buy here, you can also buy stamps here. But only for the "FriendPost" for 1.20 € per item. The price is generally harmless, because even with the official Italian post stamps cost € 1.15 and are therefore almost twice as expensive as in DE. However, the rip-off exists in the "FriendPost" system. The postcards are brought to a distribution center in central Italy and forwarded from there. At least that's the promise. As a rule, the postcards are usually gone, so they never arrive at their destination or, if they do come, they are several weeks or months late. These stamps and the YELLOW post boxes should therefore always be avoided and the local post office should be visited.
However, should you have bought the stamps by mistake, it is advisable to return them under the pretext that you called "FriendPost" and they regrettably informed you that the post would be traveling much longer this way. At least that's how it worked for us.
