L’abbiamo inaugurata mia moglie ed io arrivati un’ora dopo il taglio del nastro. Area tranquilla, comoda da raggiungere è ben organizzata con carico e scarico. Mancano solo le colonnine della corrente la cui istallazione è prevista fra qualche mese. A pochi minuti a piedi dalle scale mobili che consentono di raggiungere comodamente il centro e la rocca. Il costo, è di 8 euro ogni 24 h completamente meccanizzata il pagamento è possibile sia in contanti che con carte. Per chi ha intenzione di visitare Spoleto in camper è una grande comodita'. Nessun tipo di camper service. Sicuramente comodo in quanto il parcheggio si trova a 5 minuti dalle scale mobili che conducono alla città alta. Nonostante si trovi sotto un cavalcavia, la notte non risulta assolutamente rumorosa. Adiacente al parcheggio, un area sosta completa di ogni servizio, sembrerebbe pronta all'uso, ma è Chiusa per lavori da molto tempo a sentire i locali. L'amministrazione dovrebbe tenere in considerazione l'indotto portato da questo tipo di turismo. Al contrario questo parcheggio non può essere considerata un area sosta per camper e soprattutto la location del parcheggio non va di pari passo con la bellezza della città. Le auto pagano un euro all’ora mentre i camper devono pagare una tariffa fissa di 8 euro per 24 ore di sosta , in teoria anche per la sola visita a Spoleto e ripartenza . L’area camper attrezzata è a fianco ma chiusa per lavori che dovevano terminare il 14 di ottobre del 2020 e dopo un anno non sono ancora terminati e a vederla chissà a quando sarà fruibile. Il parcheggio è predisposto per 10 camper in aree ben definite su ghiaia sotto il cavalcavia della superstrada e la sosta notturna non potrebbe essere delle più tranquille . C’è un risvolto positivo …. quello di poter accedere alla parte superiore di Spoleto per mezzo di scale mobile ed ascensori per il duomo o la Rocca .
