★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Shambolic filthy dump! No English spoken only got registered after 1 hour 15 minutes thanks to an English speaking patient. Spent a further 1 hour fifteen minutes in filthy waiting room with a badly injured swolen ankle. My local MOT station has a cleaner waiting room!. Toilet doors do not close and have no locks with broken cracked tiles harboring germs. Walls havent been painted in decades and are filthy. I finally left without being seen with no way to get an update as to when I would be treated. Cost me £20 each way for a 7 minute Taxi ride! Horrid experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Avoid at all cost !! This is the fawlty towers of hospitals. Although we were warned by the reviews on google, after talking to the reception in our hotel we went there because we learned they had a translator. Honestly they translator (a young woman) is the only good thing about this hospital, she is carrying more then the nurses and doctors there. There is plenty of staff and none other them can be bothered working unless you are nearly dead. Arrived at 11h45 and was there until 18h (which is not even at all that bad) if we would have been helped. painful arm ...broken it turned out after 5h....go to the pharmacy and get this brace to have it fixed..no braces...only can be ordered...called back the wife (with the broken arm) who went back to the doctor (only to be treated like she was a fool....again !!) doctor would sent nurse to go with me...when I came to the hospital nurse was already calling pharmacy ...indeed...no brace....after lots of calling around...brace would be available on Thu, this was Tuesday ?!?! In the end we went up to the floor they told us to go with the brace, and demanded !!! a cast ...doctor not happy, we should wait until Thu...no...we both insisted we wanted a cast now....so doctor only did half a job...and this only half the story..AVOID ! AVOID ! AVOID !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sometimes you are not in the position to choose to go to these places, but I am glad I did. The building is a bit tired, and admittedly it was quiet when I went. However, I was seen immediately and a very friendly and helpful interpreter was on hand straight away. The staff were professional and kind. I had bloods taken, ECG and x-ray then reviewed by doctor in under 2 hours. A job well done in my view.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Truly a horrific experience. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Especially if you are an American. They DO NOT CARE.
My mother was transported by ambulance with a fractured vertebrae and fractured hip. She was strapped down to a board and let in the parking lot in the august heat for 30 mins while they demanded her paperwork before getting her care.
Once inside they did not attach her to an IV. She was wet from swimming and they did not give her a blanket. A male nurse removed her shorts leaving her naked from the waist down. Only then did they give her a tiny towel to cover herself.
She laid for 9 HOURS on the board. Calling for help. Was given no fluids. I was not allowed to see her. No nurse would stop to talk to us, we had to demand to see anyone. They didn’t even take her vitals until hour 8.
The hospital is filthy. The bathrooms do not have toilet paper or even soap. The waiting room is a hot box with no AC or fans.
The staff are rude and unhelpful. I heard them MOCKING a patient who was moaning in pain.
It was hell. I was able to have her transferred to a private hospital 30 hours later. She was so dehydrated the staff at the private hospital thought their was blood in her urine.
I truly do not feel safe in Italy after this experience. We paid €350 in fees to a private ambulance to get my mom out. Never go here, it is a portal to hell.
