A small, young university in the Tuscan Chianti region. Very internationally oriented. A good partner if you want to venture into "unthinkable" socially relevant research projects with young scientists.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Al termine di questo percorso, non rifarei assolutamente la stessa scelta. Gli aspetti che inizialmente mi hanno portata a scegliere questa università nel corso dei mesi sono venuti meno. Di seguito alcune considerazioni che ho evidenziato e sottoscritto in sede universitaria: col senno di poi, sento di esser stata trattata esattamente come un qualunque numero di matricola così come accade in molte università dove i docenti, alcuni, dall’alto delle loro posizioni, impartiscono giudizi ignari delle idee e intuizioni altrui. La mia esperienza è terminata in modo negativo ma spero possa esser d’esempio per migliorarsi. Credo e condivido fermamente che a livello accademico l'istituto universitario Sophia abbia un enorme potenziale, eppure, per quanto concerne l’esperienza di vita che di pari passo accompagna la parte accademica, c’è ancora tanto tanto umano che non sempre fa emergere aspetti come la fiducia, il dialogo la condivisione.
Da parte mia, sono stati questi ultimi a fare la differenza nel processo di scelta tra le altre Facoltà, eppure, se non ci si impegna costantemente a farli emergere rimarranno soltanto belle parole.
At the end of this path, I would absolutely not make the same choice again. The aspects that initially led me to choose this university over the months have disappeared. Here are some considerations that I highlighted and signed at the university: in hindsight, I feel I have been treated exactly like any matriculation number as happens in many universities where teachers, some, from the top of their positions, impart judgments unaware of the ideas and intuitions of others. My experience ended in a negative way but I hope it can be an example to improve. I firmly believe and agree that at the academic level the Sophia university institute has enormous potential, yet, as regards the life experience that accompanies the academic part, there is still so much human that does not always bring out aspects like trust, dialogue and sharing.
For my part, it was the latter that made the difference in the process of choosing among the other Faculties, yet, if we do not constantly strive to make them emerge, only beautiful words will remain.
