L'ho frequentato molti anni fa per imparare a giocare a tennis e devo dire che effettivamente si respirava un'aria un po' elitaria. Ma a parte questo (che in fondo è un bene e non un male), ho un pessimo ricordo dei due campetti da tennis presenti. Mancando essi di copertura, ed essendo Cava una cittadina notoriamente piovosa, erano più le lezioni che si saltavano per causa pioggia (o post-pioggia, per campetti inagibili), che quelle che si facevano! E però la retta mensile (abbastanza costosa, all'epoca) si pagava a prescindere da quante lezioni si era potuto fare! In mancanza della lezione, si faceva ginnastica in un tristissimo scantinato adibito a palestra. Non credo di sbagliare se affermo che tuttora i campetti sono ancora privi di copertura impermeabile e quindi ancora soggetti alle intemperie del maltempo. It has the reputation of being the circle of "V.I.P." of Cava. I attended it many years ago to learn to play tennis and I must say that there was actually a slightly elitist air to it. But apart from that (which is basically good and not bad), I have a very bad memory of the two tennis courts present. As they lacked coverage, and being Cava a notoriously rainy town, lessons were skipped due to rain (or post-rain, for unusable pitches), than those that were done! And yet the monthly fee (quite expensive at the time) was paid regardless of how many lessons could have been done! In the absence of the lesson, gymnastics was done in a very sad basement used as a gym. I don't think I'm wrong if I say that the pitches are still without waterproof cover and therefore still subject to bad weather.

I've been there for an evening of tango and the elegant and warm environment make you want to stay. Service bar well stocked with courteous and friendly staff.

Campi in buoni stato. Characteristic club with clay courts in the heart of Cava de 'Tirreni. It's really nice. Changing rooms a little old but clean. Fields in good condition.

I locali rinnovati e la fervente attività dei soci Ri-fondatori sta dando i suoi frutti. Excellent clay tennis courts, continuous maintenance and splendid tennis instructors, even for children. The renovated premises and the fervent activity of the Re-founding members is bearing fruit.
