★ ★ ★ ★ ★ È la nuova sede del CED del Comune di Prato. Un tempo si trovava in piazza Buonamici, adesso in queste stanze recentemente ristrutturate.
Storicamente il CED di Prato è stato all'avanguardia: primo comune ad aver istituito l'anagrafe elettronica, spesso tra gli enti che hanno sperimentato nuove tecnologie, con un numero di dipendenti, rispetto ad altri comuni simili, generalmente superiore. Questo ha permesso, e permette ancora oggi, di sviluppare internamente molti servizi informatici, anche se l'ampliarsi dell'esigenza di informatizzazione obbliga ad affidarsi anche a fornitori esterni.
 It is the new headquarters of the CED of the Municipality of Prato. Once it was located in Piazza Buonamici, now in these recently renovated rooms.
Historically, the CED of Prato has been at the forefront: first municipality to have established the electronic registry, often among the institutions that have experimented with new technologies, with a number of employees, compared to other similar municipalities, generally higher. This has allowed, and still allows today, to develop many IT services internally, even if the need for computerization expands, it also requires relying on external suppliers.
