Messina è una città metropolitana purtroppo in declino e si vede anche dai supermarket che sono sicuramente ad un livello più basso di quelli del nord a stesso marchio anche in centri più piccoli. L'assortimento è sempre più limitato, bisogna fare molta attenzione ai prodotti prossimi alla scadenza, spesso mancano i prezzi o sono messi su articolo sbagliato o simile, capita frequentemente che prodotti in offerta nel volantino non ci siano disponibili ma non perché esauriti.
