Excellent ring trail for half seasons. Time taken just to enjoy half a day with regenerating views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sentiero segnalato come turistico, ma decisamente più impegnativo di quanto possa sembrare dalla valutazione in questione. Servono scarpe adatte e consiglio di evitare giornate troppo calde.
Path marked as touristic, but definitely more demanding than it might seem from the evaluation in question. You need suitable shoes and I recommend avoiding days that are too hot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Facile e agevole sentiero con un'elevazione di circa 170 m di dislivello, adatta a tutti, bastano scarpe adatte.
Lasciata la macchina nella piazza di Baone, dalla strada che porta a Valle San Giorgio si raggiunge via Lucerna e si sale lungo un tratto di strada cementata.
Da lì inizia il vero sentiero (seguire sempre le indicazioni del NUMERO 8) tra boschi verdeggianti e spazi più aperti.
Proprio per la sua facilità è adatta anche a bambini e persone anziane.
Easy and smooth path with an elevation of about 170 m in altitude, suitable for everyone, suitable shoes are enough.
Leave the car in the square of Baone, from the road that leads to Valle San Giorgio you reach via Lucerna and go up along a stretch of concrete road.
From there the real path begins (always follow the indications of NUMBER 8) between green woods and more open spaces.
Because of its ease it is also suitable for children and elderly people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sentiero ben segnato, consiglio di lasciare l'auto nella piazza vicino alla scuola. Il breve tratto dal monte Cecilia ai ruderi non è per bambini (meglio avere in ogni caso bastoni e/o scarpe da trekking).
Well marked path, I recommend leaving your car in the square near the school. The short stretch from Mount Cecilia to the ruins is not for children (it is better to have sticks and / or trekking shoes in any case).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful trail but be prepared for rocks and navigating in and around them. Highly recommends good pair of trail shoes or boots. There is a picnic area for those who would like to have a place to sit and relax. The ruins are fun to view and contemplate what it might have looked like. Great way to exercise and some good views of the town of Baone below in the winter months.
