★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il sentiero condivide la prima parte col sentiero dei ciclamini. Giunti sull'asfalto si prende a sx dalle prime case, si passa davanti a chiesetta e si imbocca sentiero tra i ruderi a monte. Risale il greto del torrente in modo abbastanza morbido, e fresco (ombra da piante). Giunti al termine del rio ecco il pezzo pià impegnativo: ripido costone a zigzag.
Procede quindi praticamente in piano (due soli tornantini). Arriva a punto panoramico. Da qui inzia a scendere. Arrivati al paese ci sono due strade: appena avvistata la chiesa si scende a sinistra e si arriva sulla statale (percorso corto). Attraversato il paese invece si può andare a visitare due altri paesi (Centenero e Caudano), via altro sentiero dove facile avvistare ungulati. Scenderà anch'esso sulla statale (sx appena fuori da Caudano) ma ... 4 km a nord (località Pesa). In questo caso si dovrà fare tutta la statale da Pesa a Macra per tornare all'auto. Ma ne vale la pena comunque !
 The trail shares the first part with the cyclamen trail. Once on the asphalt, turn left from the first houses, pass in front of the church and take the path between the ruins upstream. It goes up the river bed in a fairly soft and cool way (shade from plants). When you reach the end of the river, here is the most challenging piece: a steep zigzag ridge.
It therefore proceeds practically flat (only two hairpins). Arrive at the viewpoint. From here it begins to descend. Once in the village there are two roads: as soon as you see the church, go down to the left and arrive on the state road (short route). Crossed the country instead you can go to visit two other countries (Centenero and Caudano), via another path where it is easy to spot ungulates. It will also descend on the state road (left just outside Caudano) but ... 4 km north (Pesa locality). In this case you will have to go all the way from Pesa to Macra to get back to the car. But it's still worth it!
