Consiglio la visita sia del museo diocesano presente al primo piano che della cappella di San Gregorio. Archbishop Palace. Splendid Baroque work that together with the cathedral constitutes the square. It is a real treasure in the heart of the historic center of Lecce. I recommend visiting both the diocesan museum on the first floor and the chapel of San Gregorio.
I	Ilaria Orlandini on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiariamo subito una cosa: il museo, in sé, non contiene opere pittoriche di particolare rilievo e potrebbe tranquillamente essere saltato, se non fosse che è inserito nel biglietto da 9 euro con il quale si accede alla cattedrale e ad alcune altre chiese barocche. Credo fosse l'unico modo per spingere il visitatore qui! Il chiostro del palazzo in cui è ubicato, invece, è carino; la cappella di San Gregorio che qui si apre merita una breve visita, ma è più scenografica che artisticamente pregevole! Gli stucchi non sono infatti di grande fattura, specie per chi ha visto quelli di Giacomo e Procopio Serpotta in Sicilia! Let's clarify one thing immediately: the museum itself does not contain any particularly important paintings and could easily be skipped, were it not for the fact that it is included in the 9 euro ticket with which you enter the cathedral and some other Baroque churches. I think it was the only way to push the visitor here! The cloister of the building in which it is located, on the other hand, is pretty; the chapel of San Gregorio which opens here is worth a short visit, but it is more scenic than artistically valuable! The stuccos are not in fact of great workmanship, especially for those who have seen those of Giacomo and Procopio Serpotta in Sicily!
