Costruito sul colle Vissiano dove i Santi martiri Alessandro, primo vescovo della città, e Filippo, suo successore, testimoniarlo con la vita la loro fede. Qui venne martirizzata anche la Santa Bossi di cui il colle porta il nome. Posto panoramico da cui è possibile vedere gran parte della città di Fermo.
A seguito del calo delle vocazioni, parte del seminario oggi è in uso uffici e associazioni esterne. È sede anche dell'Istituto Teologico Marchigiano, oggi sede distaccata di Ancona, e aggregato alla Pontificia Università Lateranenze.
Construction built by the then bishop Norberto Perini. Built on the Vissiano hill where the martyr Saints Alexander, the first bishop of the city, and Philip, his successor, testify their faith with their lives. Here was also martyred the Santa Bossi whose hill bears the name. Panoramic place from which you can see most of the city of Fermo.
Following the decline in vocations, part of the seminar is now in use by external offices and associations. It is also home to the Marches Theological Institute, now a branch of Ancona, and aggregated to the Pontifical Lateran University.
