La chiesa ha origini nel XIII secolo, ma è stata largamente rimaneggiata fino al secondo dopoguerra. Notevole è il chiostro annesso alla chiesa, residuo della antica struttura conventuale. Attualmente parte della struttura e utilizzata dalla università della Tuscia

Noteworthy is the cloister attached to the church, a remnant of the ancient convent structure. Currently part of the structure is used by the University of Tuscia
